These detailed presentations were created by Inve$tWare for the NAIC Chapters to teach NAIC's fundamental stock analysis using the Investor's Toolkit. The individual user may also use these presentations as a learning tool.

Print-out Notes

Included in each module are Notes for the presenter which can be printed out by going to | File | Print | and selecting "Notes Pages" from the "Print what:" drop down menu. You may also like to print out the "Hand-outs (3 slides per page)" which includes a place for notes for each screen. (Note: If you are using one of the Microsoft PowerPoint Viewers '97 you probably will not be able to print out the notes.)

  • Module 1 — About Investing: NAIC Principles and History.
    About Investing is a primer starting with a discussion about why there is all this interest in the Stock Market. It introduces long term investing and its benefits, followed by an introduction to NAIC and it's principles. Key to understanding NAIC's methodology is an understanding of growth companies, and distinguishing between a "good" company versus a "good value" company.
