The National Association of Investor's Corporation

NAIC is a non-profit educational organization, headquartered in Madison Heights, Michigan, dedicated to the investment education of individuals and investment clubs.

The organization was founded in 1951 by a small group of investment clubs with the purpose of educating individuals to become successful common stock investors and to build wealth over their lifetimes through management of their own investments.

The organization currently has over 750,000 members nationwide, including 39,000 investment clubs and individual members. There are also more than 250 corporations who are corporate members of NAIC, including such well known names as AFLAC, American Greetings, Exxon, Intel, MCI, Wendy's and many others. These corporations sponsor many NAIC events such as the National Congress each year and local Investor Fairs®.

Regional Chapters, currently 100 in number, are comprised of volunteers who bring NAIC's educational tools and principles to their area by sponsoring seminars, Investor Fairs®, and other programs to educate investors.

NAIC also has a national Computer Group, which provides computerized investment tools and education. Many of the Regional chapters also have Computer Groups who present computer programs and seminars at the local level.
